AIS data-only package
I have one a one year Marathon, 70 GB/month, theoretical max speed 300 Mbps (4G max). Cost 1890 (Lazada. activated/registered at local Telewiz shop). Works fine and for my on the road/out of the house I never even come close to 70 GB. "overpaid" in a way, 30 GB would likely be enough for my use.

Check in at International or Domestic terminal at CNX?
I remember this CIQ "side exit" when walking to baggage claim after leaving a domestic flight. It's hard to overlook.

Best way to explore Isaan?
Yes they go to Bangkok for the vibrant city life and cultural experience. They go to Pattaya for the beach life and islands.

Best way to explore Isaan?
That comes close to what I would suggest. Come and see the nature. As others write, the cities are somewhat similar and not too interesting to spend a lot of time. Chiang Khan skywalk overlooking Mekhong over to Laos. Khao Yai at the entrance to Isaan is worth. Petchabun is nice although just west of Isaan. For the parks, waterfalls, Mekhong etc. it much depends on your date of travel. Can either be crowded like mad or waterfalls drying out, Chinese cutting Mekhong low you can almost walk over. Four weeks is really too much for just this region. You could consider doing a whole Thailand round-trip in this time. Do you have experience with driving in Thailand?

Germany’s vaccine donation: A million Pfizer doses to strengthen Thai health ministry
And SMS messages miraculously vanished from her phone. Incompetent or corrupt. The effect is the same. Multi billion tax payer Euros wasted to fatten Pfizer.

Germany’s vaccine donation: A million Pfizer doses to strengthen Thai health ministry
Successfully dumped the shelf warmer before expiry date. Pfizer shot in Germany popular like a kick in the shin. Huge scandalous multi billion contracts of EU with Pfizer. Millions of doses will rot. Compensation payments for non buying expected.

Makro Pro
Stock control a Makro. Good laughter ???? Don't want to bore with details just one: Tuesday is the "maybe have wife's favorite (frozen) bread roll " day. No chance Wed to Mon. The other type is lying around like stinking fish. Other products vanish for weeks and months. Big hooray on return. Customer service: a mate regularly bought Schweppes. Always only one box available. Asked whether they can order more. Blank stare. Can not.

Facial recognition for Banking apps
That seems to become "big fun". I managed one successful scan with Bangkok Bank raising daily. Now since 10 minutes trying to do a transfer > 50 and felt like a 100 attempts to repeat the success. What comes as an extra bonus: if the "green" frame appears you have to do some grimace like blink or smile, instructed on screen. Too bad I can't read that without glasses on. If that doesn't change it sounds like a lot of frustration and trouble, visits to the bank etc. Will now check the website.... Thanks heaven BKB website works as usual. Looks like the app will develop to tool for "minor deals". In an emergency I can use the BKB website on the mobile (with magnifying glasses ).

Facial recognition for Banking apps
Was at Bangkok Bank and SCB today. Bangkok Bank hopefully finished, picture taken although no message(?) so far. AND just was successful in raising limit. The process was a bit erratic. Took some attempts with the face in frame SCB: sat with the female clerk for about ten minutes. She seemed to have no idea what to do. She called Bangkok and the woman on the line told me it would be ready on July 4th and I would be notified through some channel. (other posters seem to have gone through similar and told some ready dates) So far SCB has not cut down limits. Similar with Kasikorn, limits unchanged and seems not ready. Yesterday this message popped up from the app:

National Astronomical Research Institute forecasts today as longest day in Thailand
Must be a terrible translation. As all above said nothing to forecast. Just scientific/astronomical facts. And as usual some span between northern and southern Thailand. Chiang Rai: 13 hours, 20 minutes sunrise to sunset. Bangkok: 12 hours, 56 minutes Songkhla: 12 hours, 31 minutes (close to a null event) Of course the twilight lets the day feel even longer. It's a pity I have never been to the far north (north cape) where the sun never sinks at this time of year.

Currency Transfer Using Wise.com
All the described procedures I did ONCE when registering my WISE account. Completely normal as all financial institutions have to carefully identify their customers. Since then no more such. I should mention that I always transfer from the WISE "bank" account to the ever same account at Bangkok bank in my name.

E-Visa with thai address on passport
If you have (permanent) resident status/address in Korea you could direct your application to the Thai consulate in South Korea (I assume south). For that the address in the passport is useful. Should be good enough for application at Korea consulate? Otherwise you need another proof. For the details you would have to give it a try on the e-visa site. Can't help with details.

Bts to don muang airport?
Reminds of my one and only rail link use from Suvarnabhumi. Down the stairs at the connecting station and a good walk to the BTS. "Well thought" and coordinated between Thailand state railway and Bangkok metro... Don't know whether is has improved.

Banks refusing to witness Life Certificates for UK Pension Service now?
German Pension office last year started a trial with "Postident" mobile phone app that basically consists of uploading passport pages and then taking a short video clip of the face (within the app). I did it successfully last year but this year I will get me a stamped form so that I can send a copy to the company pension office which is behind modern times. (this Postident just leaves an identification completed message on the screen. Quite useless. Last time for the company pension I used a bilingual form (English/Thai) from the Swiss(!) pension office and had it stamped by the subdistrict major. No fee. German pension office has bilingual forms for misc languages but of course not for Thai.

E-Visa with thai address on passport
From a mate's experience the first post of Dr Jack says it all. The Thai consulate in France has to work on the application for any French citizen! No question. And of course you can use any former address or address of relatives whatever if asked. No proof requested. The problem arises only if a foreign resident of France (let's say a Swiss) wants to apply for E-visa at the consulate in France. He would have to proof his residence in France. Why would he? Maybe because he lives and works in France and can only proof income/saving in Euro/France. I know about that having lived in Germany as a foreigner and applying at the general consulate in Berlin (in person 2010). Need proof or residence.
