Most of the stuff on the auction site chilindo.com appears to be Chinese low quality junk, that barely would make it at the $1 store, but is it worth a closer look?

I watched below 2 items for a while and they sell for 100 baht, which seems reasonable.

Anybody had any good or bad experience with them?

I think it is important to understand that Chilindo is not an E-bay clone. They source everything themselves, so it is basically an online supermarket where the customers bid on every single item.

Its a pain in the arse having to bid all the time but occasionally you get a bargain. I got a wall mounting bracket for my big TV for 200 baht delivered. This is usually 700 baht in town.

I wonder if the bidding is rigged with occasional bargains given.  Intermittent reinforcement is a strong inducement to bidding.  Looked at it a few times in the middle of the night and the bids seemed very unlikely.

I think the whole 30 second bit cycle is a deliberate part of their business model, praying on the gambling mentality of many Thais.

Was the wall mounting of reasonable quality? Sound like a very fair price.
