General Prawit, the man who ultimately has final responsibility for Yingluck's security and escape needs to find scapegoats fast.

Second priority to having a good feed requiring an overseas trip at the taxpayers expense.

Don't know why the Government is making all the fuss, maybe just to save face,

but Yingluck doing a runner is the best possible scenario for them, just imagine

if she had of gone to prison, she would have been looked on as a martyr by the

Red shirts, with them camping out at the prison gates,so either the secret police

are not up to the job,or everyone knew what was going to happen, just like Thaksin

and his trip to the Olympics.

The fact that every thing is forgotten is precisely why Thailand is in a mess.

Examination of the DNA evidence is likely to indicate the culprits are Asian, with a 66.6% match suggesting Rakhine males from Myanmar.

typical. just  got to laugh. who the hell would use fake licence plates and then keep them once the job is done, anyone with half as brain cell would have crushed them immediately.  its called getting rid of evidence. sorry. its too much for them to take in,, lol

Will someone tell me why we are continuing with this farce?

To entertain the masses, the BIB haven't mastered the art of making Thai soapies, so this is the best they can do.

It's called questioning of suspects, done slightly differently to western countries. I would imagine that false number plates being found would be reasonable grounds for questioning.

If they know for sure that those three did use fake licence plates, they must charge them then. But they didn't. Curious, huh?

they said they acted on orders

obviously the guy who gave the orders is untouchable

Because this soapstory is near the end now....it's army vs police....and the police is working against the army, so who's the real boss?

From prior knowledge and observation it is very clear where the police alliance is centred, and is it necessary to spell out it's an ex policeman.

No it isn't, they are policemen on inactive posts (like a huge part of the force) and they still get paid from the taxpayers' money.

An ex-policeman would have to be sacked first.

Think you missed the point of who can and does  pull a lot of strings when it comes to the police, is ex-police and not filling an inactive post, has moved well past that.

If you think that Yingy escaped without the junta's knowledge then you're even dumber than the average fanboy.

Can't make your point without insulting someone?

In fact you can easily and openly buy false or flipping number plates.

In reality this activity is illegal but like many things just ignored, resulting in many such business activities becomes very open.

On the other hand maybe it's an ex-cop now living in self exile.

Why aren't they questioning the other BIB who allegedly gave the order?

Maybe the one who gave the "order" is ex BIB, considered by some to still have validity but a resident of other than Thailand ?

Well then show me where it's written that the police-colonel is an ex-policeman right now, iow where it writes that he got sacked....untill that's not written in public he is just put on an inactive post which means he's still part of the policeforce.

I don't think this is the case...

Anyone caught doing something illegal and in a case so being so much covered by media, I don't think they would drop charges even if it was littering. I smell something else.
