Seaweed strips from 7 / 11

Featured Replies

Ingredients are in Thai and I'm a non Thai speaker at present...  I'm interested to know if these are good for you?  Seaweed should be but I don't know if they are packed full of additives.

Any ideas?

Either way I like them.

I don't like the fact that they are overly wrapped with huge amounts of plastic. Certainly not healthy for the environment.

I remember as a kid eating seaweed fried , it was called lavabread , oh it was divine

So thats why the wife makes me eat it so often:smile:

I have wondered about that as well. Sea weed itself is nutritious but I am sure it has additives, including sugar and perhaps preservatives.

Still, it seems to me a better snack for children than candy bar, which have no nutritional value.

I think you rely on confused sources if they compared the two. If it meant as a joke, try again.

If taken from Pattaya beach, 'spices' would take on a different meaning.

So you kind of wrap it around your pecker? a bit like a black condom?

When I checked seaweed products which had ingredients written in English, though from Japan and Korea,  some had corn syrup/ super sucrose, hydrogenated fat and of course salt. Not all. I get mine from Central festival and food mart. I check them to avoid things like sucrose etc.
