How many days bars/resturants etc.closed for King

What I heard last week was only a day.  But that the police hadn't given out notices yet.  It's just speculation.

Best, and to respect the feelings of locals, is to either abstain or not to be seen drinking out in the open or in bars for the whole week starting 23rd Oct.

I doubt that would apply in Pattaya.

As written there is no final information available until now.

For me only 100% sure is Oct 26.

This would be Thailand no more if any partying/booze would be allowed on this day.

Oct 13 somewhat likely (anniversary of the death of King Bhumibol, Rama IX).

A new annual public holiday.

You can start practicing dry day tomorrow, Oct 5.

Awk Phansa (Ok Phansa) Buddhist holiday.

Nothing to do with the funeral/cremation.
