BTits has a point look at the state of that anorak with a a cap and his mate looks like he's just stepped off the set of eastenders. 

It is called the i don,t give a damn attitude. The Thais are often much to kind to say anything. more and more disrespect to not only the Thais but other cultures. But in some countries foreigners understand they can not get away with murder. Likely would be fined, jailed, deported, beaten maybe even killed for showing total disrespect to another culture. Sadly many websites promote this behavior while a few do their best to inform foreigners both men and women your being an obnoxious selfish <deleted> to put it kindly. Much like those on this site that are complaining they can,t have their booze and hookers during a national holiday. Sadly the foreign freak show will continue until the Thai government changes the foreigners behavior to either behave or leave. if the culture does not fit your needs to show off your 200 and up pounds of sweaty grossness you could always get on the next plane.

I am hoping that for one day these Twatpackers, Low-So Expats have enough sense left in their addled brains to show respect and dress properly or at the very least stay in your flop house.  The day when the Thai people say a final farewell to their beloved King is not the day for you parade about in your daily attair of singlet, shorts and flip flops.  Of course I expect to see these ar...se holes showing no respect and going about like noting is special.

There are many the same, if not more, in farangland....

I've been in with a group of Thais when shirtless farangs are about...
Many times they're pointed out with much laughter....At other times they are more discrete (if the farang is in hearing range)....
 
I don't think these people realize just how bad they really look + are a subject of ridicule....
 
Especially in a society where looks are everything....

In your scenario the only person at ease is the farang.
Hey, he's here, on holiday, spreading his money around.

Yes..... after 30+ years in and out of Thailand I draw a close comparison the these farangs you mention to the 'typical Thai driver' who is taught by the 'typical' Thai driving schools to nevermind looking in your rear-view mirrors - never mind those folks behind just watch the road in front (and never mind what is coming up behind)(or how you are affecting those behind you).... These farangs mentioned above show very comparable 'selfish concerns' and no consideration for others............
