britmaveric
Is it as "tasty" as Marmite? Nothing like marmite. Give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised. Onion relish is another good spread.

Mobi
Went to Frendship this morning to replace my jar but there was NONE LEFT. Sorry for the delay - been out of town. I went to Friendship on the 11th Jan (Thursday) around 2 p.m. and I would say there was at least 8 small jars there - tho' I confess I didn't count them. I admit to buying 3 jars and at that time (per my photo) but didn't see od bods, who might qualify as TV posters, lurking to snap up the rest of them. So I'm sorry if in any way I contributed to a 'run' on my favourite pickle. Does anyone know if the larger jars are availble anywhere in Thailand? (I know, I'm getting fussy ) Edited January 14, 2007 by Mobi D'Ark
jasreeve17
This thread is really winding me up. I'd love a cheese and branston sandwich or even better a baguette, but after a trip to the local Justco, Carrefour and Tesco I'm still lacking. Picked up some Danish Brie though - horrible. I might have to get out of my PJ's (it's fine to shop in these locally, Thaistyle) and take a trip to the Emporium...(of course I'll put something else on before I do!) Ohh, the Branston urge can be quite strong. Reminds me of an old girlfriend too, but....
