Seeking GP for Influenza Doctors Certificate - Nana area

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I've got a feverish flu setting in and am looking to see a GP in order to get some treatment and a Doctors certificate. Going to have to re-schedule outbound flight and get out of Dodge sooner. I am near Nana BTS, would Silom Christian Hospital be my best bet for being able to get to see a GP  ?

I assume you mean Bangkok Christian Hospital on Silom.

It will certainly work fine for the medical certificate. Whether you will be satisifed with the care and treatment is another matter and deopedns on the doctor, to be frank Thai GPS on the whole can be pretty mediocre and you would be more likely to get accurate diagnosis and treatment form an infectious disease specialist (readily available and not that much more expensive).

Other hospital options are St Louis Hospital on Sathorn (Surasak BTS station). Bumrungrad Hospital is closer (right on Nana) but more expensive.

If you would like to see a Western GP, then either
