Pool steps safe or not.

Featured Replies

Are your pool steps of the single top tread variety?

If so the better option is the double tread which negates the size of the gap between the wall and the step.

This eliminates the risk when someone slips and prevents the foot getting trapped and usually results in a broken ankle, or worst a drowning.

The double tread step is available as a retrofit.

It really goes without saying steps should be securely anchored , and inspected on a regular basis.

Next up: Bangkok street furniture that does not whack you in the head when you're walking along the pavement.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean.  I was coming home from the bar the other night, stopped to wait for a break in the traffic and some <deleted> trod on my fingers.

Hi sappersrest! I agree with you upto some extent. A double tread pool step is very safe and easy to enter or exit the swimming pool.  But there many other options also which are more safe like the one - Curve Step System  for inground pools, Ladder Mats and step pads for pool liner protection. and these all are available online in a very affordable cost  also.
