CW this Friday.

I am considering going to CW in BKK this Friday for extension of stay and then reentry permit.  Any idea if it will be packed or empty since CW closed Thursday.  I can go next week if needed.  Thank you.

Would you know how the queue cards work? Do you think you can collect one on Friday and collect your stuff stamped on Monday?

If you go this Friday (and probably Monday also) expect them to be absolutely packed out. If you have the option, I would suggest waiting until Tuesday.

As a comparison I had to go to CW on Thursday 12th (Friday 13th was a holiday)  to pick up my extension of stay after 4 weeks "under consideration". Getting the extension took a little over an hour. I had picked up a queue ticket for the re-entry permit on arrival at the same time as the extension ticket. It took 4 hours to get the first call on the re-entry to lodge the documents and pay and another hour for the permit to be processed into my passport.

My feeling is that the place will be packed Friday and Monday, so be prepared for a wait. All the best.
