Surat Thani police captured two drug suspects and seized a large amount of “ice” crystal methamphetamine and “yaba” amphetamine pills on Sunday night in Surat Thani’s Wiang Sa district, following an earlier bust that netted an alleged drug dealer in possession of narcotics worth Bt12 million.

On Sunday night, Surat Thani superintendent Pol Colonel Sathaporn Pattanarak led 20 police officers in a raid of a house in Tambon Wiang Sa where a large amount of illicit drugs was being stored pending distribution.

Officers arrested Thaweesak Saetan, 34, and Patcharawan Thongboonchuay, 34, and seized 317 grams of ice, 21,600 yaba pills, two guns and 86 bullets at the house.

The raid followed the arrest of alleged drug dealer Arkhom Muangbumrung, 41, in Phun Phin district and the seizure of 57,780 yaba pills, 687.44 grams of ice and two loaded guns.

Arkhom was released from prison 10 months ago on a royal pardon after serving nine years for robbery. He was also wanted for an attempt murder charge in Ban Na Derm district last week prior to the drug bust.

You can educate kids all you want and most will try something.

So you are saying save the money and stop the fight on drugs.  The medical costs alone would be astounding
