'Toon' recovers on Wednesday morning amid concerns by fans

By The Nation

A team of doctors said rock star Artiwara “Toon” Kongmalai has regained his strength after scenes of him taking oxygen on Tuesday night raised concerns among his fans.

On Tuesday, Toon finished his charity run at night when he arrived in Kanchanadit district in Surat Thani. At the end of the run, he appeared so tired that he had to be given oxygen.

The team of doctors that has been closely monitoring Toon said the singer had regained his strength after sleeping overnight..

The rock star is scheduled to have a rest day on Wednesday and continue this epic run for charity on Thursday.

Toon plans to raise Bt700 million for 11 public hospitals from his run under the banner of “Kao Kon La Kao”, or “Take One Step Each”. He started in Betong district in Yala province, and his final destination is Mae Sai district in Chiang Rai.

Never trained for the run.

He is an avid runner and i have seen him participate many times in triathlons all over the country.

But i guess he did not train for running this much so many days in a row.
