Ignore bullies who verbally and sometimes implicitly, try to intimidate.

We had them round this week. The missus didn't buy. Shame, I was looking forward to spending Christmas Eve listening to a policeman playing a recorder, like the one on the ticket.

I bought tickets for the policeman's ball in Glasgow once.

Always like a raffle.
