A Thai man who has admitted to murdering another man in south Pattaya in 2004 has been arrested in Nakorn Ratchasima.

Somkhit or Thammaniyom, now 31, was apprehended on the second floor of Big C in Nai Muang sub-district of the north eastern gateway city on Wednesday.

He was out shopping with his girlfriend without a care in the world.

He has admitted to murdering Siriwatana in South Pattaya in August 2004 after a disagreement at an entertainment venue at the resort.

He had been wanted on a murder and gun offences warrant ever since. He told police he had worked as a general employee at a company where they did not check his background.

Police recently got fresh information that he was staying with a woman in Korat and managed to track him down resulting in Wednesday's arrest.

Sanook reported that he has now been taken back to Pattaya.

He is not in jail yet

He was 18 and maybe on drugs , maybe he didn't know what he was doing , maybe he do not remember.

Let's bring him back to Pattaya and then wai in public , then maybe go and do some time at the local temple.

After 13 years - the warrant already expired and suspect is free to leave?
Or it this another care than the Boss (Red Bull)?

I believe in most countries kcpattaya - there is no statute of limitations for murder. Therefore a warrant would be moot.
