Celebrity Thai boxer Buakaw Banchamek declared on Friday that he would join the charity run with rock star Artiwara “Toon” Kongmalai on Saturday.

Buakaw posted on his Facebook fan page that he would run with Toon at 4am from in front of Wat Bang Waen school in Tambon Pakklong in Chumphon’s Pathieu district.

He said he would welcome any fan wishing to take selfies with him during the run.

Toon and his group rested on Thursday and Friday after he reportedly had a minor leg injury at the end of Day 23 of the charity campaign run on Wednesday.

I'll be surprised if he can last 10k.

Er, he's probably more fit than Toon. Running 10k is not a big deal for a pro boxer/kick boxer. Kudos to the pair of them.

Publicity stunt, nothing more or less..

The more publicity, the more money donated, the better.
