Reward, warrant issued stepfather accused of beating infant

PATTAYA:--An arrest warrant and 10,000-baht reward have been issued for the arrest of a Pattaya man wanted for critically beating his 19-month-old stepdaughter.

 

Chana Chaloemyat, 31, fled the scene following the brutalizing of the baby girl while her 21-year-old mother was away.

 

The mother appealed for help to Paveena Hongsakula, director of the Paveena Foundation for Children and Women and has garnered the support of top Royal Thai Police officials.

 

The child suffered brain injuries and is now at Chonburi Hospital.

 

Deputy national police chief Pol. Gen. Weerachai Srongmetha and Pol. Maj. Gen. Nantachart Supamongkol, commander of Chonburi Police, called on Banglamung Police Nov. 18 to demand an update on the investigation.

Another male in the world who was not Adult enough to be a good parent. Disgusting, I hope

when he is caught and jailed, it becomes know of what he did inside the prison, so he gets a

good thump or two as well.
