He has put is foot down on a very specific foreign policy that no previous presidents have had (frankly) the nuts to do.  Fair play - I am fairly religious agnostic and have many friends from many faiths but making your mind up on a policy that to be fair has probably already caused significant unrest in the past with a possibility it may cause more is a relatively brave thing to do - coming from an English guy his state visit is welcomed!

Are you talking about Jerusalem? Or Iran, or North Korea, maybe Russia? He seems adept at pouring oil onto troubled waters.

As an Englishman, I would say he is uwelcome in the UK to a wide and widening range of people. Maybe he will be turfed out of office before he gets the chance to go there.

We already have a Consulate in Jerusalem. If necessary, they can just change the sign. :smile:
