PHUKET: A 72-years-old female Korean tourist was saved from drowning during a trip to Coral Island off Phuket’s southeast coast today (Dec 16).

Regardless of the nature of the incident, it is so nice to be reading about someone saved instead of another life lost.

Perhaps this is a life that has been saved because there is now an Accident and Emergency center in Chalong near the pier.

Previously it would have been around a further 30 mins to get to a hospital.

I guess that is totally irrelevant to the information they already read in her passport, right?
