January 6, 20188 yr Author Owner of the house not living in Chiang Mai and will be away when I am visiting for business. How to manage TM30 then, pls?
January 6, 20188 yr Author And it looks to me like I will have to do an extension of stay based on work. I will get a work permit when I am there. 30 days before the 90 day stay permission expires I will apply for an extension of stay based on work, will attach work permit, they might ask me to show the tm30 day I imagine so I am anxious to get it first thing I reach chiang mai. Please help me: can extension of stay be applied for and got after 60 days of stay. and will i be able to get out of the building with extension in my passport. i have heard i will be able to stay for a year when granted. please help.

If you qualify for the extension it will be issued for one year from the date your 90 day entry from the non-b visa ends.

Are you suggesting that I ask the homeowner to keep one copy of his housebook and ID card signed in readiness for me because I take it that they will not just need a copy of the documents but they would want it to be certified with the owner's signature again on the xerox copy. Am I correct? Hope I am not being tiresome:-) Edited January 6, 20188 yr by Master Jairam clarification
