Online check in.

Featured Replies

Not sure I've got this right. Check in online  2 days before....print the boarding pass at home and when you arrive at the airport go straight to immigration (if you don't have any luggage to check in that is.)

Immigration accepts the boarding pass print- out on a piece of photocopy paper do they?

Sounds too good to be true. Is it?

Thanks everyone.

It depends upon your airline, most are 24 hours before. Some (if not all) departing from Swampy don't do printable boarding cards for security and document verification reasons. You have to go to the "online check-in" or "bag drop" desk to pick up your real boarding card. Usually short queues though.

Thanks Crosby. I just went to the Singapore Airlines site which said that Bangkok was an airport where 'self printed boarding passes' were acceptable.

Again I'm thinking that that sounds a bit too good to be true.

The online or bag drop counter you mentioned is at the Singapore Airlines counter or what?,...

Thanks again.

You might on internal flights but no way on international. Immigration exit stamp is only to confirm you were within validity etc. No way does anyone get on an international flight without full passport scan for no fly list etc etc
