New Year Resolutions

Featured Replies

Well, it's nearly 2018.

What are your New Year Resolutions?

Mine are:

To talk to family back in the UK more ofter.

To start writing letters to family also (at least once per month)

To drink less

To eat less

To be extremely polite on TVF.

To buy everyone on TVF who gives me a 'like' a bottle of Leo (early start to POTY 2018).

To argue politely with the mods.

To not post suggestions on the DIY forum to topics about which I know nothing.

To not post suggestions on the Farming forum to topics about which I know nothing.

To not post on TVF AT ALL after the 3rd Leo.

What about you lot?

No worries mate, have a good one.

I should probably make a start on those kitchen tiles I bought 3 months ago ,,

There i go again [emoji20]

To continue my quest to enlighten the dim-witted

Being lucky enough to live in the year 2561, I will keep on looking with amusement at these unfortunate people stuck in the past, more than 500 years ago, waging their wars, blowing their financial bubbles, searching for new genders, and posting selfies while being tattooed...

If only they knew...

Only two keep myself in reasonable shape with the walking exercise most afternoons and watch the weight

used to make others but never completed them

To not waste so much time by lying on the sofa and surfing TVF !

Doh !!

You've got to love Calvin & Hobbes. I've just about got the full set of books back in the UK somewhere.

New resolutions? Don't need any, the old ones (from years ago) are doing just fine, thank you.

The same as every year - no resolutions and enjoy as many sunsets as I can.

I always seem to be back in UK for a couple of weeks every 6-7 months or less. 12  flights in 3 years has taken its toll I wanna stay away from uk for 18 months to 2 years. I'd love that.

I'll probably be back in nappies in 27 years time.

Happy New Year all.

- To continue with my keep fit and healthy diet program that paid off last year, (but I fell off my motorbike today, so no gym tomorrow!)

- To learn Burmese (I can speak/read/write good Thai after living in Thailand for about 10 years, but now that I live in Myanmar, I really must make a better effort to learn more of the language).

- Not to get married again

- Not to build a hotel again

To continue my quest to enlighten the dim-witted

You're in the right place
