I have been doing for 10 years and never a problem.

Only thing I have heard is some offices will not take a TM7 with photo that is printed on to form and must attach one.

yes , i always use the digital forms and print them out on 80 grams paper,

Good luck.

Thanks,

I guess they're using a 30 grams papers.. hehe

One thing they can be fussy about is double sided forms.  They can reject them if the sides printed on separate sheets of paper.

That is the whole reason they provide the forms online.  Just be sure to print two sided forms on one sheet of paper as they are when provided by immigration.  You can also add your phone number to back of TM7 form as that is now asked for.

The new TM30 form is now a 2 page format.

It's impossible to print it double sided as the tear off portion would destroy the information from the first side.

How much time would it save if you had to go to Imm Office, get their form and fill it in there.....2 minutes.

The TM30 from Immigrations old website downloaded as a single page, with the tear off portion at the bottom (I still have copies).

Not so, on Immigrations new website that has updated forms.

It is a single page for my download today to Microsoft Office.

Here is one I downloaded in 2015 and sent it to our landlady.

Page one is in portrait format and pages 2 and 3 in landscape (deleted what was on it before)

Was only counting the vertical page - now understand you are talking printing the horizontal form on the same paper would cause a problem.  Can agree with that - these would be separate forms.

Just opened it and it is the same as the one posted and it shows 3 pages.

Edit: This PDF version downloaded in June of 2016 has 2 pages, tm30.pdf

That opens as 4 pages in Open Office. lol.

I had WORD until my old PC packed up.

Now I realise what my problem is.........thanks.

Time to do a little editing.

Open Office does not work for immigration forms and never has.

But have no idea how there are three pages - you are opening form number 28 (tm30)?  I am opening in Word 2010 and it is only two pages - one vertical with receipt and the horizontal for hotel listing.  If attempt to print it is protected mode and have to allow printing but still is two pages on my computer.

I use Kingsoft (WPS now) office and it has 3 pages. It works OK on the other immigration forms not sure why the TM30 form is different.

You can use the PDF version I posted and complete using "Fill & Sign" on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Yes, I've just discovered that fact!

It opens in 2 horizontal pages and 2 vertical pages using OpenOffice.

Your pdf still opens as four pages in Open Office.

I used to use Kingsoft (until they got too commercial/WPS) and indeed it did work with the immigration forms I used (did not use TM30 however).

But in Chaweng Wattana, believe me, especially we're 3, it saves alot of times, to print it, and complete them before. It have a long queue there..

And I have plenty free time to form them now, I am not busy

Edited by Danielsiam

I have Adobe Reader.

Works OK on your blank fillable pdf link.

Me thinks time to ditch Open Office and use Microsoft instead.

Thank a member that did it and sent it to me. It is posted on the pinned topic titled immigration templates along with other PDF versions of forms.

You can put Bangkok for the written at space.

I seem to recall the example given by immigration says, "GOVERNMENT COMPLEX".

Not if he is completing the form at home. Written at means where you are at when you complete the form.

I simply staple the forms together. There has been no problem at Chonburi Immigration. I can't speak for the other offices. There's probably one that would not allow this. I can't see why, though.
