Why not print them 2 sided. It is easily done. Better that taking the chance they will not accept it.

It saves me a lot of time as I have a lot of trouble writing since I broke my wrist, plus if I write it by hand you would not be able to read it, plus I have even done Thai translations for my name, etc that makes it a lot easier for the IO

Me thinks time to ditch Open Office and use Microsoft instead.

I have Apache Open Office and I have no problems with any of the forms as I have converted them to pdf files and I just use the fill and sign and then save them for whenever I need them, I just change the date and any other information and then print them. No problems

The TM30 I have is only 2 pages

The entire reason they give you access to download it is for you to use it.

Not sure about CW, but in Jomtiem it is difficult to find the space to do it, and I like to arrive with the bundle of papers ready to go. You have to queue at a busy front desk which also makes that idea not practical. It also seems beyond most of the customers in there to bring a pen with them!

Chonburi (Pattaya) Immigration will accept the TM.7 if printed on two separate sheets - I've used 2 separate sheets completed on and printed from my computer for the past 12 years with no problem. I also have the photo taken next door on the day I apply for my annual extension and the Immigration Officer attaches it to the form.

 

Also, for 90 day reporting, if you have the bar coded receipt from your last report, you don't need a form - just your passport and bar coded receipt - they scan the bar code and print out a new bar coded receipt to replace the old one - usually takes about a minute or so -- although you can have a bit of a wait if there are many people ahead of you in the queue, but the longest I have ever waited at Jomtien Immigration office is about 10 minutes.

I just turned 70 and can STILL write legibly the first time. And you do not need the form for 90 day reports anymore, well not in Phitsanulok. Happy New Year.

I'm 73 and have trouble writing since I broke my right wrist, so you can come with me and fill out all the forms when needed this year. I have made several friends at immigration because I have gone to the trouble of filling out the forms in both Thai and English simply by copying the Thai translation from my wedding certificate and the Thai calenders and my address from my lease documents. Happy New Year and keep it safe

I could not write very legibly at 15 never mind 75 - but even if good hand suspect much easier for an immigration officer to read typed English.  Here in Bangkok we still use TM47 form.

Trying to explain to a Thai who speaks no English that you need the form printed on both sides is a losing game. They should KNOW this since they have to do government paperwork too. But they DON'T. I never thought it would be so difficult to tell someone that I need page one and page two on the same sheet of paper. Seems obvious but it is complicated by the inability of Thais to accept anything but their own line of thought.

What REALLY steams me, is the fact that I have watched the IO officer SHRED the "Extra Information" forms almost as soon as he thought I wasn't watching. Proof positive that it is done for no other reason than to satisfy the ego of some IO flunky in Bangkok.
