Mr Kharkov said that he could not remember all the details of the accident, just that he lost control of the motorbike on a steep slope in the hills.

Does he remember if he has a valid driver's licence? Insurance will ask that.

What is all the craze with these baskets of birdy essence? You see them everywhere. That stuff is horrible! I don't understand why would you give someone as a gift?

I'm sure the accident victim will love her basket of Chicken Essence!

Sorry, Thunder26. You just beat me to the post!

Successful marketing and packaging, that's all!   Leaving "the thought" aside, I'd have thought that miniature jars of chicken slurry would be an insult as a gift.

Now, lets use this as an example Mr Policeman

The provider asks,

1> Does the renter have a licence ?

2> Has he accepted your insurance policy ?  (By law you have to have one)

3> Did you provide helmets unless they showed you their own ?

Lets start by getting this right from base 1.... If they answered NO to any of the above then the

provider is in violation of his licence to rent & is responsible medical costs

Mr Plod & Transport Department ,,,, it is not rocket science

Your conclusion, in violation of his license, is not correct and based on nothing.

1. Agree or disagree, but in Thailand this is the responsibility of the renter, not of the provider.

2. All bikes will have the basic Porobor insurance, and 'accepted' does not come into this.

3. These are provided as standard.

Dusit Thani is a higher end resort.  Usually, guests of the Dusit  do not rent scooters, they have a vehicle and a driver.  Thailand is an attractive destination for a certain type of Russian awash with money.

The manufacturers claim that it helps to maintain a healthy body and produce a sharp mind, you can make of those claims what you will
