Phnom Penh Municipal Court charged a French tourist yesterday for beating a Cambodian sex worker after he accused her of stealing money from him. Huoth Chanyurann, chief of Daun Penh district police, identified the man as Sebastien Millox, 49, and the victim as May Sreyleak, 32, a worker at the Bunny Bar, a French-owned establishment in Wat Phnom commune.

Sok Dararith, a police officer in Daun Penh, said the attack took place at the French man’s rental house on Saturday night. Mr Millox went to drink beer at the Bunny Bar and brought Ms Sreyleak back to his rental room to have sex.

Once there, he went to take a shower, and left the victim alone in his room. He checked his bag when he returned, and claimed Ms Sreyleak stole $200 from him. Mr Millox then violently attacked the young woman, grabbing her hair and beating her forehead against the wall repeatedly. She was seriously injured and lost consciousness.

This guy is stupid on so many levels.  Gullible to leave a bar girl alone in your room while you take a shower (always take her with you to soap your back and front!).  Gullible to leave cash in the room.  Stupid to then beat the girl up.  If the police don't get you the girls boyfriend or the bar owners will.

You have very high thoughts thinking that the bar owner/boy friend or police would care that much about a prostitute who steals from the customer. It's kind of overreacting to beat the girl unconcsious but it's always a risk to steal from people so clumpsy that they find out before you left the room.

Story doesn't say he got the money from the girl; if she had it. The guy needs to pay her at least $200 for beating the heck out of her. Football players that hit and go unconsious have to have days off work. The guy went overboard.
