Wilas Thongchaem, 40, was arrested on Walking Street in South Pattaya at 4am, allegedly in possession of eight fake ecstasy pills and a bag of fake marijuana. Wilas said he sold the “drugs” to earn money for his family. The ecstasy was a cough medicine and the marijuana a mix of tobacco and almond leaves, plus some actual marijuana to make it smell convincing.
