As usual, scores of self-styled "fortune tellers" across the country are going to read - for a fee, of course - the most ridiculous things into this "blood moon", and how this completely natural phenomenon allegedly is some sign from a bunch of pissed-off mythological deities that forebodes national and individual gloom and doom.

It's also a Blue Moon, so Thais should run out and buy a lottery ticket.

Will it work if I buy a lottery ticket online during the blue/blood/eclipse and what will be the most auspicious time to buy a ticket for the lottery back home in the Netherlands?

Unlike the believers of a man nailed to a cross inspiring guilt, war and invasion not to mention You Know Who. You might be less grumpy and judgemental if you you could find the charm in ancient myths. Meanwhile in India the merciles cast system is ruling people's lives. But what do you care?

It's a super blue blood moon. Very rare, last one 152 years ago.

So could we call it a ROYAL MOON as it has blue blood?

It's certainly seen as royalty in lunar circles. Not to be confused with the wolf moon at the beginning of January, which was something of a dog in comparison...

I am in jomtien so now I am confused, should I buy the ticket on Netherlands time or Thai time? Time to consult an oracle.

So it's 13:27 in London and 14:27 in Amsterdam and 20:27 in Bangkok and there's another blue moon in March.
