utalkin2me Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 I have a Mac tower, “hackintosh” that was built for me. I want to bring it to Thailand as it has all the software I need on it, but can’t figure out if I’ll be able to plug it in over there. Is there any way to figure that out? For other things I can look on the device and I know if it says 110 to 240 I’m ok. I suppose worst case scenario I’ll need to get a converter or whatever they are called. Thanks.
Crossy Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 There should be a rating plate on the power supply with the necessary information. If not try the person who built it for you. If I'm understanding correctly a "Hackintosh" is actually just a regular PC which is running a fettled version of MacOS, so your power supply is likely a standard unit. 1 "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Yeah I will try to look in there closer, and yeah I can’t get a hold of the guy. I may be using the term wrong but mine is just a Mac that got built from parts lying around and not a stock one bought in a Mac shop. Thanks!
