Ladies' evening wear out front, war weapons out back - tricky trader arrested in South

A Southern Thai man set up a shop selling ladies clothes but really he was out back producing and repairing guns, said Sadao police.

 

Phuriwit, 33, was caught red handed among a cache of rifles, shotguns, war weapons and handguns in a room behind his clothing store.

 

He admitted the tools were his but said the guns belonged to customers and he was just repairing them and painting them.

 

He was detained on charges of making guns and not having licences for guns in his possession.

 

Investigations continue to see who he might have been involved with, reported Sanook.
