Police have traced the seven Rohingya illgal immigrants arrested at Thung Song railway station in Nakhon Si Thammarat province last month to a human trafficking gang allegedly led by a man named “Muhammad” in Pathum Thani province.

The seven Rohingyas–five men and two women–were smuggled across the Thai-Myanmar border into Kanchanaburi province, then to Nakhon Pathom where they were escorted on a south-bound train by a railway police officer, identified as Pol Sub-Lt Chuan Soonkhum, to Hat Yai district of Songkhla province.

Police said that the seven would get off in Hat Yai where they would meet an agent, believed to be linked to Muhammad gang, who would arrange for their journey into Malaysia.

Could not traffic without Thai help and healthy cut of the action. Any arrests?

led by a man named “Muhammad”

Should not be too hard to locate. You would not think there'd be too many Muhammad's in the muslim south.
