My fiancé wants a French bulldog puppy. I know that many people don’t love the idea of buying a pure bred dog with so many homeless soi dogs out there, but she wants one and let’s not have a political or philosophical discussion. Has anyone here bought a puppy from a specific breeder in Chiang  Mai? I’m trying to avoid getting an inbred dog and find a reputable breeder, if that is possible. Thanks!

I have to say i am really happy nobody is helping!555 get her a soi dog and tell her its a new super rare and super expensive breed!or just photoshop a bulldog puppy for her facebook selfies that should do the job too!

 

There's nothing wrong with getting the exact dog you're looking for- I had two 'soi dogs' along with a pricey golden retriever.

 

Try The Kennel Association of Thailand (likely not much English spoken)- if a potential breeder shows you pics and pedigrees of dogs imported from the US or Canada, ask to see the import paperwork and contact the original breeders to check provenance- due diligence on your part is the key.
