Baby elephant rescued by resourceful villagers after falling into rural Thai well (VIDEO)

Screenshot from DNP video footage.

Villagers in Chantaburi province, in the east of Thailand, labored tirelessly in the middle of the night to save a sweet and helpless baby elephant that fell into a well on a farm early Friday morning.

The elephant was partially submerged in mud and water and struggling to stay afloat and get air, he was obviously getting more and more upset and his cried can be heard throughout the video.

Perhaps the reason he had been unguarded long enough to fall in a well was because his mom had been shocked by an electric fence in the area and was in shock, presumably as the accident happened.

As you progress from just clicking sad to contributing, you will see that some news items are so fascinating that they are updated or further explained with videos and a second view. That is what makes TV such an important source of news.

Yes, it’s the same story just repeated.

But that’s okay with me , a heartwarming story that is worthy of a second look IMO .

..better than seeing motor cy accidents.
