Popular Post webfact
Thai social media in raptures as waitress "Nong June" helps blind couple with their dinner Picture: Daily News Thai netizens praised a part time waitress for her wonderful attitude after she helped a blind couple at a pork BBQ restaurant. Nong June - or Wanwisa Tanpeuk, 19, a first year student at Pathum Thani University of Technology - told Daily News that she had seen the man and wife hesitating outside the BBQ Plaza store at Lotus. She invited them in realizing that the man was totally blind and the woman was only able to see just a little. A friend read the menu and took the order then she checked with the manager that it would be alright to do the cooking for them and he heartily agreed with this kind suggestion. A diner on the next table started filming and the act of kindness ended up on the Facebook page of "Koki TurTle". The poster said: "It is great that there are still good people in society. She stood there helping the couple throughout their meal". The actions of humble Nong June were praised across social media. She is a part time waitress at the store. Calover
This is what is great about this country. It is why I fell in love with the LOS. these kind actions should be what the news is about. What a great job to the parents on raising her. Why can't more people in the west act like this. Instead they treat people that have disabilities like they have the plague. I hope she gets everything she wants and dreams of in life.

faraday
Yup, Thai people can be so lovely, warm & kind. Coupled with the genuine smile, it fills your heart.
Justfine
All this praise for this? Fairly minor stuff. Some people spend decades helping out the disabled.
Popular Post faraday
Yes Justfine they do. But this is about a waitress who went that 'extra mile' to show compassion.

Good grief. The expression "You'd complain if they hanged you with a new rope" seems to fit. Can even a little act of kindness not go unpunished?
