Cardiologist

Featured Replies

Hello

I have recently moved to Jomtien from Oz and I am looking for some advice on the procedures for seeing a cardiologist in the Pattaya area. I have an annual heart check up after having one of my coronary arteries stented some years ago and it is approaching that time of year again :-(

Do I have to see a GP first to get a referral or can I make an appointment directly with the cardiologist? If anyone knows of a good cardiologist , I would be happy to receive a recommendation.

You go directly to hospital and cardiologist here

don't look in Pattaya only they have some great guys in Bangkok as well

Its your heart so it will be worth the trip

Not sure what you mean annual heart check, i have had a stent put in few years back in Melbourne

and no annual check was ordered by the doctors, anyway, i think you don't need a cardio for that

a GP will suffice, go see one and he'll check you as well as a cardio can, unless you have an

underlying conditions that needs the attention of a cardio, and beware of those doctors

who orders too many tests to look good and increase the hospital revenues at your

expeness....
