A Swedish tourist filed a complaint with a Pattaya police station on Friday, after someone stole Bt99,900 from his bank account, leaving just Bt1.38 left.

Construction tycoon Premchai Karnasuta and his three companions, who have been charged will illegally hunting in Kanchanaburi’s Thung Yai Naresuan Sanctuary, met with police investigators at the Thong Pha Phum Police Station at noon on Friday noon, ahead of the March 5 date in their third summons.

Swiss paedophile in Thailand jailed for 16 years

 

A Swiss man accused of abusing more than 80 children in Thailand for over a decade has been fined and sentenced to 16 years in prison by a Swiss court. He will also be forced to undergo psychotherapy.

Krabi Airport’s runway cracked

A passenger using Facebook account, Atipoj Srisukhon, posted a picture of a cracked runway at Krabi International Airport, expressing the concern about the safety today (March 2). The damage is several metres wide but is limited to the extreme ends of the runway at both ends.

108 turtle eggs found on Lek Beach, Similan

The Chief of Mu Ko Similan National Park in Kura Buri District, Phang Nga, has revealed today (March 2) that the national park officers found the tracks of turtles from the water to the beach area. After tracking down the path, the team found 108 turtle eggs buried under the sand.
