Wasps

We live in a rural area  recently discovered a wasp nest under eaves of house.

I need to spray a pesticide inside  to kill them

I am not vaguely Buddhist so i want total destruction however it seems no ones knows of a reliable chemical (eg wasp killer powder )i can buy, or  do they not have this stuff here (  lived 17 years here but mostly in BKK this country life is taxing for a city boy)

Tried Homepro today asking for advice felt like giving up the will to live

Like you we had a big wasps nest under our eves, its a

2 story house so bit more difficult, if you have a 1 story.

We got some Chaindrite termite killer, soaked rags in it

and forced them into the nest with a long bamboo pole,

and ran like hell, these wasps are very big and very dangerous

took a few efforts until there was only a couple wasps

left, then we just destroyed the nest, sprayed water and  cleaned

it all off.we also tried smoke, but nearly set the nest and house

on fire.maybe best find a local and let them take it down and be stung !

regards Worgeordie             PS best to do it at night.

We had a waspnest and one stung me...so i sprayed it several times with the watergun on the hose, as hard as possible and then run.

Better would be to install that watergun on a pole or chair or so and turn on the tap from behind the house...do it every day and they will go.

Be very careful they are very dangerous, you need to kill the queen

to make sure ,first time we destroyed half the nest,in a day they had

it built good as new.

Indeed.  OP don't underestimate this wasps.  Some kinds are super aggressive and can actually kill a person.

We had a mango orchard and would often get wasp / hornet nests and also bees nests.  Bees no problem.  But the hornets would attack so easily and with no provocation.. many times I got stung and it's really painful... once my hand swelled up lie a rubber glove filled with water and took over a week to get better.

My advise is to get a local farmer to come and get rid of it.  They know what they are doing better than us!  These wasps are not like the European ones... they are real pussy cats compared to the Thai hornets.

gave up a long time ago, the use of pesticides

This stuff below works a treat!

Image result for 3m adhesive spray

spray at towards and all around the nest's approaches

soon, you will have this great anthill mound lookalike - all the dead wasps all stuck to the one below it

We are getting a man from pest control company i am not happy doing it as i am allergic to wasp stings i swell up for days.

Evidently he is coming this afternoon to inspect the situation

Lets hope their days are numbered
