The ex-husband of a head maid stabbed her in the the street almost 10 times in the middle of a crowd in southern Phuket Town.

Police found the dead body of 47 year old Lamai Chokkuea, the head maid of a cleaning company, in her uniform with many cuts from a knife, including 4-5 wounds on her neck, 1 on her forehead and another one under her left breast. Her body was sent to Vachira Hospital for an autopsy.

Wichit Police brought the 46 year old ex-husband murderer (he has confessed to the crime), Winit Kumkrong, to the crime scene for a re-enactment this morning (March 9). He said that his ex-wife tried to drive over him with the car which, he says, was the motivation that led to the murder.

“After checking the CCTV camera, we could confirm that the murderer was Winit. We followed him to a rented house in Chalong and found his mother. She said that he had already left the house. He called her after leaving saying that he stabbed his ex-wife and was traveling to Bang Toey Sub District in Phang Nga to a relative’s house,” said Wichit Police Station Superintendent, Pol Col Nikorn Somsuk.

“We followed him to the house and took his mother along as well. We found him in front of the house with his motorcycle. He confessed everything. After questioning he said that he was angry because his ex-wife tried to hit him with the car, making him fall from his motorbike which, he claims, is when she lost control and hit the electric pole.

Quick, quick,  it was her fault so I had to kill her. Another Thai guy with no sense of taking responsibility for his actions.

Geezer

or... he was simply explaining what happened?

People snap sometimes... like the farang who got sucker punched for taking a bat to some guys car and trying to run him over after being slighty cut offed... or the farang who committed by murder by beating another guy to death because he thought the other guy was mistreating a woman.

some people have anger issues and loose control...  its a trait shared by humans not just thai people

I agree. However, nobody has the right to kill or maim people no matter where they come from. This is just another Psycho to add to recent murders that could have been easily avoided had they thought first before acting out any brutal attack.............................:post-4641-1156694572:
