The prime minister has ordered security officials to conduct in depth investigation into the movement of the pro-election groups as he suspected they might have support from certain political parties and they might have ill intentions.

Reaction by Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha came as the pro-election activists held a rally last Saturday calling on the Army to dump the military junta, a new challenge to the regime.

Gen Prayut said he didn’t care much about the group as it comprises same activists who might have other ulterior motive and backed by certain groups of politicians.

Rather confusing.......and to think he sacked a senior official last week for causing confusion.

If it's anything like the investigation into his deputy, the pro-election movement have nothing to worry about.

Mr P is clinically paranoid, needs to see a shrink, and ideally put out to the Funny Farm.

That way, in years to come, he may get away with avoiding treason charges.

The guy is a loon, and certainly not 100 per in the head.

WHASSAT!!!! Phew, it's only my shadow......

Could it be those pesky politicians, who want free and fair elections...?

Unheard of.....Time for the iron fist....!!

Seriously...The Great Savior is losing the plot by the minute....

Their only motive is an election within the time frames that you have assured various world political leaders you would stick to.

These groups are constitutionally entitled to protest peacefully, their demands are reasonable and don't threaten any particular person.

I have a theory that the reason all the delays could be due to another serious event that is unmentionable but certainly on the horizon, and would guarantee that all sides cease and desist for a set period. If they are clinging on for that it is abysmally low even by this regime's already gutter level standards

He,s jut running scared.........:whistling:

My way or the highway, you have been warned.

All you fools wanting free, fair elections, you are dreaming, i will not allow it to happen, that is the clear message little p is sending out.

A good game . . . mmm, could that be an unmentionable d'ship or a more all-guns-blazing counter-C?

OK, I give in . . . give us a coup clue.

Just a polite reminder to General Prayuth about the questions (formulated by Tony Benn) that need to be posed to those in power.

? What power have you got? ? Where did you get it from? ? In whose interests do you use it? ? To whom are you accountable? ? How do we get rid of you?

The delusion that he find himself so blameless and so pure is just appalling.   Watching this sham for all these years would make anyone protest.  Ill intentions ?  The population is probably just sick to death of crap they have to hear day in and day out.

Unique Thailand where someone be suspected of being criminally guilty of promoting elections.

Welcome to Prayut's Thai-Style Democracy!

Election; ill intention??? Don’t get it.

You couldn't make it up. He promised elections in 2015 and three years on continues to cling to power. What on earth does the man expect?

The electorate are not a bunch of raw recruits there simply to obey orders. Governments are the servants of the people, not their masters.

This is a lesson the arrogant General and his henchmen deserve to learn the hard way when the voting booths finally open for business.

Every article on the election issue screams one thing and only one thing. We will stay in power regardless of what you the people want!
