Freezer Bags with a Zip.

Featured Replies

Anyone know where I can buy freezer bags wit a Zip on them. I bought a couple of packets when in the UK

and they are brilliant, but now I am running out.

IKEA seems to sell in UK/USA so that might be a place to check if in Bangkok or if anyone has seen.  Ebay has many listed but expect cost will be high as postage is extreme.  For Chinese alternatives at reasonable price with many having free postage check here

Where doesn't sell them? Big C, Lotus, TOPS, Villa, Gourmet Market, Freshmart, MaxValu all have them.

Zipper bags and grip-seal bags that are suitable for freezer use are two different commodities. I've only seen zipper bags (re-usable) in a local supermarket but grip-seal bags (single use) are everywhere and available in a multitude of sizes.. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough but I find grip-seal bags quite adequate for freezer use and also very inexpensive. I tend to buy mine in Makro as I use a lot!

I hope so.

I seen them in Ikea.. you mean plastic backs with some kind of zip ? Still I am not sure if they are reuse-able.

Tesco and BigC sell them.  Re-usable if you're bending nickles.  I sometimes re-use them for dry products, like cereal, granola, breads/muffins etc.  Great for keeping ants or whatnots out of your stuff.
