Annual Extension at Nonthaburi

Mine is due later this month ( this will be my eleventh) ... Retirement and money in the bank circ. 1Mthb

 

Anyone done this lately ... just trying to save a dash out to the printing shop.

 

Last year they caught me out as they wanted a copy every previous annual extension stamp ...

 

Last year I gave ....

1) ... TM7 with photo …I always have a spare photo ... double sided

2) ... TM30 … both pages

3) ... Copy of House Masters ID card

4) ... Proof of funds … copy of Bank Book Main page and at least last three months worth of credit/debit

Copy Passport …last year they asked me for a copy of all the pages that had extension stamp!!  I double side. I get 4 passport pages on a sheet of A4

Copy Passport Main page … last extension…last entry into Thailand

Copy of arrival card

Copy of my Yellow Book ... can't remember if they wanted that or not.

IS THAT IT?

Also as my CIMB bank has moved to IT Square (Lak Si) it doesn't open until 11am ... would they accept letter and book update the day before?

Went today ... arrived at 11am and only one person in front of me ...so by 11:20am  all was completed awaiting the boss to sign ...

 

It was very very quite there. One other 'like myself' and then nothing until two agents turned up with three bags full of 'applications' each application about one inch thick! 

 

The staff were having some sort of Happy Day ... all dressed up in Thai Costumes and taking photos. I saw my papers 'moving around' and fortunately  they were passed to the back office at just before 12 o'clock ...and came straight back signed ... was worried that I might have to wait until after lunch.

 

All in all a good day to go ... nice to see all the staff happy, usually that office is a little more serious ... apparently they told my wife it was the last day of Songkran celebrations ...,

 

I supplied and they kept ...

 

1) ... TM7 with photo … double sided

2) ... TM30 … both pages

3) ... Copy of House Masters ID card

4) ... Copy of House book

5) ... Bank Book ... updated today ... I added 1000thb

6) ... Copy of Bank Book Main page and pages showing last three months worth of credit/debit

7) ... Letter from bank indicating bank balance yesterday

8) ... Copy Passport Main Page…plus a copy of all previous extensions AND copy of last 90 Day report AND copy of last Arrival Card AND copy of last entry into Thailand ...I double sided.

9) ... Copy of my Yellow Book
 

Every page signed and with phone number

 

NOTE ... I presented the bank letter in English ... apparently it should have been in Thai ... the IO went off somewhere, came back and said next year do in Thai.

 

Also had to sign two papers ...

One to say why I wanted an extension ( although that is stated on the TM7) and another warning about overstay.

 

And they took a photo of me as per last year.

 

Previous years I have done the extension just before Songkran ... never again ... 

 

Though someone may find this useful

 

P.S.  I found the TM30 Receipt slip had been put in the rear of my passport ... so guess that they required it

i went last week for retirement extension with a new non imm o from Vientienne issued in February this year... they refused to extend for retirement as "for marriage" had been written in pen above the visa... I was told i have to leave again.... What is going on??

Have you posted about this already or was that someone else? As I recall hearing of this before and there is presumably pertinent replies in another thread.

That explains why this office is famous for being difficult.  Glad you caught them on a day where they had enough "extra" coming in, that they didn't feel they had to try to coerce you into the "agent" category.

Did you happen to notice this topic is a year old?

It is probably not what you think.

I suspect those were applications for migrant workers which Nonthaburi has a large number of. At many offices they are processed when the officers are not busy or even after normal hours.
