WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Facebook Inc Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg will hold meetings with some U.S. lawmakers on Monday, a day before he is due to appear at Congressional hearings over a political consultancy's use of customer data, two congressional aides said on Sunday.

TAT expects close to 20 billion baht in Songkran circulation

BANGKOK, 9 April 2018 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is expecting up to 20 billion baht to be circulated from both domestic and international spending during the Songkran holiday, especially after the Cabinet announced an extra day for the festivities and tax incentives for tourism.

Two Italian tourists terrified as baht bus shot at several times in Pattaya

Two female Italian tourists were lucky to escape unharmed after a song thaew (baht bus) was shot at four or five times in an incident on Sukhumvit Road near the floating market in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Syria says suspected U.S. missiles fired at air base; Washington denies strike

Insurance commission urges holiday makers to join 10-baht premium insurance campaign

Songkla fishers to not join protests after their demands were received

World Bank raises Thailand 2018 growth forecast to 4.1 pct

Ransomware emerges as top data security threat: IBM Security

IBM Security on Monday announced results from its 2018 IBM X-Force Threat Intelligence Index which found the number of records breached dropped nearly 25 per cent in 2017, as cybercriminals shifted their focus to launching ransomware and destructive attacks that lock or destroy data unless the victim pays a ransom.
