Why would they want to go to the southwestern tip of Cornwall???, although I agree it is safer, but not very good weather !!

  • Sounds like the baht bus driver put the cute tourists at risk by chucking the bottle. Man children again.

Moron chucking bottles at vehicles have to expect some type of retaliation. Shooting up the vehicle is however extreme and the shooter needs to be locked up

Notice your edit did you mean Sunderland ?

Methinks (after a couple bottles), tailgating: to ensure that this is indeed daughter of mob boss el-farto in sicily, attempted hit by inept local hitmen who have too, imbibed, case over.

Normal behaviour for that bad place . But don't forget the top man claims thailand is safe for tourist  . he should have said but excluding Pattaya

It's confirmed with this story that it's safe.
Nobody got hurt...  ;)

A water bottle is the weapon of choice for baht bus drivers, a gun is the weapon of choice gangsters but I'm not sure throwing a plastic bottle is normally classed as high risk behaviour, even in Pattaya.

Really? Try throwing a bottle at some other vehicle with thais in Pattaya. Maybe you get out of it alive, maybe not ?

Maybe they're from Sicily ? Part of the education there to hit the floor when the shit hits the fan.

What would you instead have done? According to your education?

I'm sure it can find new depths to plumb.

yep throwing bottles at moving vehicles  -  no duty of care to passengers their

My first wife was from Palermo.  She was always hitting the floor.  She just never made any money from it.:cheesy:

I spent 12yrs of annual 3 wk holidays in Sciacca as a teen.I still miss the place, and the food !

Kids who got hold of a parant's low caliber weapon?

They tend to genetically inherit their parents' low-calibre functions.

Bet the Italian tourists won't be vowing to come back safer in Scilly.

Think you mean SICILY! The islands off the coast of Cornwall are the Isles of Scilly and I think they are quite safe!

''have a nice day, and remember you still have three weeks of your holiday left''

"I've re-booked to Syria''.

And to think they had to show 20,000 baht and an outbound flight for this

Maybe Momma not a come a with zem!

This is not good for the image of beautiful Thailand, I hope TAT can come up with a cunning plan.

Time to allow bullet proof Kevlar vests........as for now they are considered as a forbidden weapon....(!?) ...by gov.

Damaging the image of Pattaya? Anymore things there could be damaged further?......LOL

If Thailand can't control their citizens the tourism will be destroyed it is time for police and army to start cleaning up

Thailand was lucky no-one get hurt this time

This is not a family resort but a country with Thai men out of control

It seems Pattaya is getting to be almost as dangerous as London.

I think this witty  post will go over most TV members heads ( these days have a suspicion most are from Kansas ) .

I feel totally safe here , much much more than London .

Living in London , house broken into, car stolen, car broken into 6 times ( just to rip out a stereo ) someone even came into my house when I was watching a film on TV.

It’s not safe anywhere anymore very late at night , but Pattaya is a million times safer than most major cities around the world .

The hell with the two women, lets worry about the image of Pattaya! I have to worry now, when Im driving, I dont want someone to hit me, and destroy Pattayas image!

As a tourist in the third world. You expect to be shot after and robbed two to three times a week.

It is part of the memories.
