Thai husband held amid suspicions he knows more about Chinese wife's drowning death

 

 

Ban Ta Khun police in Surat Thani were called to a floating resort on the Chiaw Lan reservoir after divers located the body of a Chinese woman who was reported missing.

 

The woman was found at 9.30 am under one of the floating bungalows and had been dead six hours.

 

Her Thai husband aged 42 said that he and his wife, 40, had come to stay there since about 8pm and had been drinking beer in front of their room.

 

Despite the fact that the wife could not swim at 2am they ended up going for a dip. He claimed that she disappeared and that he reported this to staff.

 

However, police understand no such report was made until morning. The husband is being held and will be interviewed again.

 

The body was sent for autopsy.

I am sure he is totally innocent. No husband in this country of peace and understanding, would ever think about doing such an awful thing to a woman.

if he has a brain, Or along the way, of his lawyer extorting his money...the claim will be lack of evidence; and whether he did or didn't, he will walk
