Now your argument is electronic UV bug zappers killer very few female mosquitos, which are the only ones that bite. Newsflash, electronic UV bug zappers are non-discriminatory on the sexual orientation of all species of flying insects. If it flies and is attracted to the UV light it will be killed. For every flying insect killed it reduces the number of breeding pairs, its birth control. I care not what it kills only that it does. Yes, I know that mosquitos are attracted to expelled CO 2 from the living hosts feed on, but they are also attracted to artificial UV light and if they get close enough to my UV bug zapper they are going to die, die, die and I'm not going to be performing a post-mortem autopsy to determine their sex.
May 11, 20188 yr Tried 'em all--don't work. The only effective anti-mozzie machine runs on propane and is effective outdoors. Don't know if anyone makes a smaller device for indoor use. Let me know if you find one!
May 11, 20188 yr I have a 180 Baht thingie with four blue LEDs and a fan, under my desk. It has been running for a long time and has lots of desiccated mosquitoes in it. I bought mine in Amorn but haven't seen anymore there lately. If I find anymore I'll put one in each room.
