Wet Oppo situation

Featured Replies

Hi ... to cut a long story short. I was at a songkran water party and went into the water with a waterproof pouch which had a hole in it.

Needless to say I didnt turn it off because it wouldnt turn off ... the sim card works in another phone. I'm currently in chiang mai where there is an oppo service centre at airport plaza .. but as the phone was 9,900 baht .. how much does it cost to repair it? any ideas?

thanks

Is it actually still functioning? You may get away with drying it in the nice sunshine.

Otherwise it's worth taking it to the service place, but I suspect it's going to be new phone time

No doubt we will be hearing more stories like this

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Put in uncooked rice for about 24 hours, this will get the water out (should have done this asap, but give it a try)
