A 70 year old granddad needed almost ten stitches to a head wound after a group of ten men and woman attacked him and his son in their home in Doi Saket district of Chiang Mai.

A woman had arrived with group of young people last Wednesday to demand payment of 2,400 for rent due from the son of Ananwit, 44.

He said his son was not home but an argument broke out before he was attacked. When Prachai, 70, the father of Ananwit tried to prevent the trouble he was also set upon by the gang.

The son at the center of the debt was named only as "Boom".

Both victims were taken to hospital with facial and head wounds and are now pressing police to arrest those responsible.

Prachai said that he had lived in the house where the attack occurred since he was born and nothing like this had ever happened before.

Yes, and the court should waive the debt and deliver a large financial penalty to the offenders, it will not happen because TIT
