Would you buy false teeth on Facebook? Aunty Anan has regrets as the neighbors call her bonkers!

A Thai woman who has lost all her front teeth thought she had found the perfect answer - and cheap too.

She saw sparkling white gnashers going for a song on Facebook and thought that would be ideal to make her beautiful again..

So she paid 1,500 baht for the first set and an incredible 50 baht for the second and waited eagerly for the postman to arrive.

When he did it was not what she had hoped for - they didn't fit and what she hoped would be a beautiful new smile turned into a snarling grimace.

She tried softening them in warm water but that didn't work.

She returned to Facebook to get her money back and was told "no way" before she found herself blocked.

To add insult to injury the neighbors said she was crazy to buy teeth online.

Undeterred she went to the government watchdog Damrongtham in Rayong for justice. They told her they couldn't help.

So she turned to PM Prayut's office for help with some dental justice - they told her to find an English specialist as they couldn't understand what it was all about.

Sanook did not explain this reference to English though it appears that the advertisement may have contained English that was beyond the understanding of the PM's office.

Now Anan, 62, is left toothless and even grumpier inside than those Facebook teeth make her appear on the outside.

Moral of the story: Go to a dentist for teeth and Facebook to find out what your online friends had for dinner.

That´s no insult. That is a statement the contains the pure facts of the highest facts possible.

It might hurt to know the truth, but it will certainly keep one person away from Facebook.

As in;

'please can we have an election?'

'please can we have honest police?'

'drainage in Pattaya?  Safe roads? unselfish state officials? 'uncorrupt'politicians?'

My mother who is here on holiday has just bought new dentures.  It took 5 visits to the dentist including fitting.  She's over the moon.  Buying dentures online is just crazy.

In the Minburi ares I bought a great set of teeth for 20,000 that has a metal backing,A normal set without the metal backing is 10,000.Both great quality and with follow up fittings to suit you...Better then ones that I bought in The US at $8,000.

Of course not. Needs to hold them over a bunsen burner for 30 seconds and twist to fit, somewhere before the premolars. Can always take a centimetre off each end with a hacksaw.
