Lethal Weapon - Tv Series

 

Based on the movies, I didn't even manage to get through the first episode.

Thought it was truly awful.

 

 

Tv Series - Berlin Station

 

Didn't mind the first 2 episodes of this 10 part series.

 

IMDB: Follows Daniel Meyer/Miller (Richard Armitage), who has just arrived at the CIA foreign station in Berlin, Germany. Meyer has a clandestine mission: to uncover the source of a leak who has supplied information to a now-famous whistleblower named Thomas Shaw. Guided by veteran Hector DeJean , Daniel learns to contend with the rough-and-tumble world of the field agent: agent-running, deception, the dangers and moral compromises.

 

 

Really enjoyed episode 1 of this 2 part show by the Beeb.

 

 

Just downloaded an old 3 part series with Robbie Coltrane ,called murderland , a woman's murder through the eyes of her ,her daughter, her, and the detective , very good , i highly recomend it .

The boys from the Red Dwarf are back! The long-running sci-fi comedy returns for an eleventh season.

TV Series - Designated Survivor

 

This one has gotten terrific reviews.
Thought it started out really well but got more and more sillier as it went on.

Like a lot of US shows, just about everyone who has a main part looks like they just came off the catwalk.

I'll give episode 2 a crack and see how it goes.

I enjoyed Lethal Weapon!!

 

All the US series are starting again, i don't have enough time to watch them!!  Unless, i lock myself inside for the next few days.

 

I still haven't watched the last two episodes of Ray Donovan, nor have i got past the first episode of Narcos Season 2.

 

The weather has been so nice here recently,  I'd rather sit on a terrace and people watch than watch tv shows.   Winter shall come too soon...

So, I got through the first episode of Bull. It was pretty much as I feared , a poor imitation of 'Lie to Me'. Michael Wheatly actually was a tad better than I expected...DiNozzo Lite!

 

I'll watch a few more episodes before I say a finally yay or nay, but it may well end up in the 'good if there ain't anything else to watch' category.

My thoughts exactly. "Lie to me" without the wit and without the British accent, just more gadgets. They have to do better than that.

Tv Series - Paranoid

 

One of the few crime series from the UK I didn't like.

The lead character, played by Indira Varma was unbelievably bad.

One episode was enough for me.

detectives into an ever-darkening mystery that takes them across Europe, aided by mysterious notes sent by the "Ghost Detective".

Capsule - movie.

10 mins & off it went. Rubbish.

Coast,a new series ,travelogue about the coast of Britain just watched the first episode ,really enjoyed it ,so did the wife,looking forward to episode 2

Apologies if this has been mentioned before but just got back from a trip & see the new (S4) season of Blacklist started last Thursday [emoji106]

Watched the new Lethal Weapon and MacGyver...they were ok, not brilliant but something to watch.

 

The new seasons of NCIS, NCIS NO, Hawaii 5 O, Blacklist, Agents of SHIELD and Blindspot are back, loads to watch 

 

I couldn't get into the first episode of Quarry 

 

Still got the first episodes of The Exorcist, Startup and Berlin Station, hope they are good!

Shameless US Season 7 just started. Ep 1 is out.  Friday's Real Time with Bill Maher is also available on some sites.

 

 

 

Graves….a new tv series about an ex US president who suspects that his policies were disastrous for the country…lol….great premise and homage to a few morons in the whitehouse.

 

Starring Nick Nolte who is of course brilliant.

If you like underdog sports stories you might like this series. Episode 1 was pretty good, but I'm not sure how this will pan out for an entire series.

I'm not a Beatles fan but I thought this film, directed by Ron Howard was fantastic.

The Beatles film is excellent, one of the best Beatles docos I've seen.

 

The girls sure don't scream with the energy and emotion like they used to in the Beatles day.

Just downloaded a new S.F series called aftermath ,first episode looks ok , if a little wierd ,  will stick with it .

Went to see 'Sully'. Really good, & the effects were quite convincing.

Red Dwarf... saw that series 11 is back so decided to go back to series 1 to get back into it
