Hello,

I have a Non O A visa (retirement visa with multiple entry). While I am happy to retire to Thailand I would like to be doing something productive like joining a reputable educational establishment and studying Thai Language.

Is that allowed with the OA visa?

Anyone can give me guidance, would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You can attend school with a OA visa entry.

There is no requirement for you to be on a non-ed visa to attend school.

Thanks Joe.

Overall, life seems pretty easy in Thailand for these sort of matters when compared to my current location. Appreciate your response........

You can study with any type of visa entry/permit to stay.

The only people that need an ‘’ED’ visa are those with no other way of staying in the country long term.

I attended AUA and we had a number of retirees on retirement extension from US, EU, Australia, Japan, Singapore etc. Please try learning Thai it's a good fun to spend time as a retiree.
