Thai Model Blasts British Pick-Up Artist for Secretly Filming a YouTube Video of Her

A Thai model is exposing an ex-pat pick-up artist after he filmed their encounter without her permission to use on his YouTube and Patreon channels.

 

Sawitree “Sky” Paotadaeng, 29, is a pharmacist and freelance model who was shopping at the Terminal 21 shopping mall in Bangkok when a man who identifies himself as Nicholas Coakley, a balding British pick-up artist living in Asia, approached her attempting to hit on her and get her contact information.

 

Paotadaeng politely declined to tell Coakley where she was from, refused to shake his hand, and declined to tell him her LINE ID. She also told Coakley she had an American boyfriend, to which he replied, “He doesn’t have to know.” Eventually, she brushed him off and walked away.

yeah. my university educated brass with a masters from the uk that i've been married to for nearly 20 years. whatever you say. she looks like a guy and in my opinion is ugly as. and i am very confident of mine and my wifes look thanks. this girl is just as bad as him. she saw the camera, she chose to hang around talking to the guy instead of just walking away and then is that fricking sad she goes to the police over nothing and tries to garner attention from thai meda. you can have her/him

What a creepy guy, she's not interested, so get lost. I hope she sues him, as well she should. Like those dreadful Pattaya vloggers, saying 'how are you?' to complete strangers, or much worse, covertly filming people, yes, those guys on Youtube, you know who you are. Lets reverse the circumstances out there and have young Thai women covertly recording video of some of you punters trolling around Thailand and posting on Youtube, the <deleted> is trying to monetize his activities. Lets not forget how Thais value face, i suspect he will be picked up at his hotel or immigration (if hes still around) and asked to leave after missing his flight and being trotted out in front of cameras. Hes not a Brit either, hes a North American

His YouTube account currently has 3,398 subscribers, while his Patreon only has 6 patrons. Coakley’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter were deactivated following the backlash involving Paotadaeng.

Coakley is reportedly linked to infamous pick-up artist David Bond, who is known for traveling throughout Asia and filming his encounters with women in different countries. The two have reportedly made videos together, according to Coconuts Bangkok.

Paotadaeng is now seeking to file charges with Thai police against Coakley. According to Coconuts Bangkok, the model and pharmacist filed a report with Lumpini Police, who will pass the report off to immigration officials."

 

Coakley and Bond, probably another pair of digital pikeys who reckon that 'working on the internet' should be a legitimate Thai long-stay immigration status.

Ai - not because he tried to get a date (which he most likely would have filmed and distributed for Commercial purpose, too) but for the fact that he filmed this conversation AND published it on the net without her consent and knowledge.

A complete douche bag, no doubt about that, but what crime did he commit? Filming in a public place is hardly against the law. And the claim that she didn't see any camera, ridiculous. Just a failing model trying to get some attention.

Did a read on Coconuts and Facebook and it seems it goes a lot deeper than just posting the video from what I can see. He apparently stalked hee to get her real name and then when his ID was busted he sent her a fake passport picture of someone else. He trolled her with various fake facebook accounts too.
